I wrote the song Ukraine when the war broke out.
At that time all the focus was on territorialand political control, and other various threats.
But I had my suspicions that the causes and probabilities
were many more, including
the economy. Which is usually the cause.
In this case, it´s about raw materials such as grain. And other precious metals and minerals, gas and access to the ports of the Black Sea.
And because of the Soviet Union
became the world leader in these raw materials and gained price control advantages.
I think Ukraine has to fight
undeservedly far too alone.
And at the same time protect democratic rights, freedom, freedom of expression.
Which you can not take
for granted, in the development the world is taking now.
I wrote about this in the text for the song to Ukraine, which is available on this website YouTube.
